On March 7th 2023 fourth,fifth and sixth class went on a school trip to Carlow SETU college to see a science show and science expert Scientific Sue.
We learned about the atmosphere heating up and different types of gasses.She showed us a lot of interesting experiments with fire,water and gasses but they were all really safe.She got lots of different assistants to help her including students from our school.
We had a great time watching and helping with the science experiments. . We learned a lot about climate change and I know we all had an amazing time! The highlight of the show had to be when Scientist Sue pumped gas into a Peppa the Pig teddy and blew his head off into the crowd.
