We are honored to share some pictures of our newly constructed living willow structure, marking the first step in our school garden project. This meaningful initiative has been made possible through the generous funding from the Ollie Roche Memorial Golf Day, and we are deeply grateful for this support.
Oliver Roche, our former school caretaker, was an important member of our community who unexpectedly passed away in June 2021. This garden is not only a tribute to his memory but also a lasting legacy that will bring beauty, learning, and tranquility to our school.
In the coming weeks, we will be planting apple trees and further developing the space into a vibrant, biodiverse area. Beyond enhancing our school environment, this garden will provide essential sensory benefits for our pupils with additional needs. We look forward to nurturing this space in Oliver’s memory, which will hopefully be a special place for generations to come.
