We hope that you enjoy our website and get an idea of the many things we do here. The school currently has an enrolment of 142 pupils with 11 teaching staff, 6 SNA's, 5 Bus Escorts, a secretary and a caretaker.

The school opens each day at 9.00am. Infants classes finish at 1.40pm with all other classes finishing at 2.40pm

We are hugely proud of the very high standard of education and teaching in our school across all aspects of the curriculum. We place a particular emphasis on Gaeilge in our school and Gaeilge is used informally throughout the school day in our school.

In Scoil Náisiúnta Chiaráin Naofa our staff work hard at creating an environment where pupils feel safe, happy and valued so that they can reach their potential.

In September 2023 we were very proud to open our first special class for pupils with Autism. We followed this up by opening a second special class in September 2024 for pupils with Moderate GLD. Inclusion is at the core of our values here in Scoil Chiaráin Naofa as we continue to look towards the future.
